Introducing the New Steel Blue - Blue Heeler Met: The Ultimate Men's Safety Boot

The new Steel Blue - Blue Heeler Met is the perfect combination of Western-style and safety features. The boot includes Steel Blue's signature technology, including a met guard, to help keep you safe. One key aspect of the Blue Heeler is its ErgoDefender Square Toe. This feature provides a spacious toe box that allows your toes to spread naturally, providing unparalleled comfort. This boot is crafted from premium distressed cowhide leather, making the boots both durable and supple. The leather also helps to reduce the break-in time, meaning they are comfortable from day one. To ensure ultimate comfort, Steel Blue has added a waterproof elasticated gusset to the inside of the leg seam, making the Blue Heeler easy to put on and take off. 

Safety is at the forefront of this design, and the Blue Heeler includes a 200 joule safety steel toe cap (ErgoDefender), which offers premium protection for your toes. Steel Blue has also added a full-length extra thick Ortho Rebound insole to provide additional support and comfort. Their insole is designed to cushion your feet, knees, hips and lower back, ensuring day-to-day fatigue is a thing of the past. 

The sole of the Blue Heeler features Steel Blue's famous Trisole, providing electrical hazard properties, 266°F heat resistance, and 0.37 Slip Resistance, in accordance with the F2913-11 Coefficient of Friction Forward Flat Slip Oily & Wet Test. The Blue Heeler safety boots are independently certified to major international safety standards and the American Standard ASTM F2413.

The Materials:

• Ortho Rebound Footbed - Uniquely designed to reduce foot fatigue, made from high-quality Polyurethane, it always retains its shape and thickness to ensure support from heel to toe, is antifungal, and the high wicking material keeps your feet cool and dry.
• Ortho Rebound Insole - Square Toe - The extra thick, full-length insole insures knees, hips and back are cushioned best, while the S-shaped "auxetic" design in the heel reduces shock and absorbs impact.
• Poron - Strategically placed high-tech Poron pads are placed in the sole and under your foot's peak stress areas. Steel Blue included Poron in their Trisole Comfort Technology, which is now the benchmark for safety boots.
• Waterproof Elastic Gusset - For easier on and off, a waterproof elasticated gusset has been included on the inside of the leg seam which reduces stress on the premium leather and improves foot entry for ultimate comfort.
• TPU Outsole - A durable outsole, providing a high tolerance against cuts, abrasion, splitting and cracking, as well as a high resistance to most oils and chemicals.
