IDSN-443 Shim Seat – A precision carbide shim seat used in indexable turning toolholders to support and protect negative diamond inserts. Designed for 1/2-inch inscribed circle (IC) inserts with a 1/4-inch thickness and 3/64-inch corner radius, the IDSN-443 provides accurate insert positioning, improves clamping stability, and helps extend toolholder life by preventing wear on the pocket. Compatible with a variety of external turning toolholders from multiple manufacturers.
